Yes it is analytic. There is the well known equation for the fixed point using the LambertW function.
\( \alpha^{\tau_\alpha}={\tau_\alpha} \;\;\;\; {\tau_\alpha} =\frac{W(-\ln(\alpha))}{-\ln(\alpha)} \)
