Continuum sums -- a big problem and some interesting observations

In this case also the solutions differ only by a periodic funtion. For the purposes of complex analysis you can choose the solution which is monotonous and continous with its derivatives along the positive real axis (but have in mind that for negative axis it is not the "best" solution).
