I should add, that R.Aldrovandi has rewritten that paper referred by you in 2014 and called it "Tetration: an iterative approach". He took some inspiration from your and my work and mentions us explicitely in the text. There is now a section on Carleman-matrices and the conversion between Carleman & Bell-matrices.
However still "lightweight" a bit...
I should have noted this before writing my previous answer, but just found the text in an unworked subdirectory for the import of articles into my database.
