[2014] " statistical dynamics "

I was thinking about " a best fit " for half-iterates of an entire function.

Most entire functions have many fixpoints and the half-iterate cannot agree on all fixpoints.

However there might be a " best fit " solution.

Least squares and similar ideas cross my mind.

So I came up with the term " statistical dynamics " although that is already in use.
