Computing sqrt 2 with rational functions.
#1
Computing sqrt 2 with rational function iterations.

A generalization of Newton method more or less.

Using one of my teen ideas and posted on MSE by my friend mick :

https://math.stackexchange.com/questions...-functions

About as many upvotes as downvotes in a balance , so more controversial then it seems, mick told me.
( only he can see the amount of up and down votes , others see the net vote )

One could also add (1 + ...) products above ( making zero's instead of poles )

And one wonders if these (1+...) products and divisions or mixes are pade of the same function ?
