well i was about to tell you your problem had a combinatorial interpretation similar to stirling numbers of the 2nd kind.

seems you found that yourself.

how about the Lyapunov exponent and schroeder summations in the classic page :

maybe they help , or reduce ...

on the other hand perhaps you know that page by heart and considered this before.
