my current understanding is this :
two fixpoints do not match if those fixpoints are not on the same branch of the superfunction.
and by analogue
two fixpoints do match if those fixpoints are on the same branch of the superfunction.
we should be able to use that for some purpose... such as finding a function whose super matches on 3 fixpoints.
