Maybe this could be a game changer: since I firmly believe that such a normal family/limit trick applied to Bennet yelds a truly genuine, non artifact, non-integer Goodstein, this will open up the field for numerical experiments and explorations! The gates of non-integer ranks fractal-like behavior and the like... seems exciting.
I also have 1/2 weeks free from work so I plan to produce something written on the foundation of all of this. Something that can be applied in the linear case... like linear Goodstein, just to test a toy-exemple.
I'm excited to see what comes out of this.
