How do i change my username?

can you change my username for me?
I think it's just horrible and just NOT FUNNY! Because I thought of a better one: "Base-Acid Tetration"

i try clicking on my username under "brief account summary", and it just shows my profile, without any edit username section.
i try "edit profile" and it doesn't give an option to change username. neither does "edit options". i did everything a reasonable man would do. is there a secret link/code/knock? ____ EDIT: Aha you must be confusing this thread with "change my password", or "change email address"? i'm askin how do i change my USERNAME, NOT how i change PASSWORD or EMAIL ADDRESS.
Hm, it seems that per default users do not have enough rights to change their username, so my apologies if I supposed that.
Though I do not see, how your new name is better than your previous. Its done now: Tetratophile -> Base-Acid Tetration Note also that posts of others speaking to you with the previous name, are no more understandable for future readers, as they will not know who of the users is Tetratophile. (Except they find this thread.)
