Stupid Question

I'm new to this stuff so this is probably a really simple question and probably already o the forums somewhere (but I didn't see it so I'll post my own topic), but how do you calculate something tetrated to a non-integer power. For example 5^^.5 or e^^e. I'm sure there's a simple way to do it, but I couldn't find anything.
