So be it. I will extend your permissions, so that you can move threads into the new forum.

Ok, thank you.
I'll use this powers following this program:
I'll follow as strictly as possible the following set of criteria
Quote:- All the threads about Zeration, and sub-addition operators;
- Everything about Knuth's , Conway's, Nambiar's, Reihenalgebra... and other notations including notations for large numbers that use ranks bigger than 4;
- All the threads about balanced and Bennet/commutative hyperoperations;
- All the threads discussing Goodstein and Ackermann function;
- Everything about Trapmann's Arborescent Numbers;
- Extension of Ackermann or of Goodstein Hyperoperations to non-integer ranks (mainly Jmsn's);
- All the discussions about tetration and higher ops. over transifinite ordinals/cardinals;
- All the Tommy's threads about various exotic functional equations for alternative H.Os. sequences;
- Everything about iteration of iteration, and higher form of iteration, kind of stuff;
In the case I have doubts, or where the previous criteria cannot be applied perfectly I'll behave as follows.
Case A - If the user that created the thread was active during the last 5/6 months in the forum, I'll send a PM with the conflict to be resolved. I'll base the final decision on the choice of the user;
Case B - If the author of the thread was inactive during the last 5/6 months, or if in the Case A the user do not answer my PM in two (2) weeks, I'll just decide myself if it has to be moved.
If an user want's to argue with my decision, in case the case the set of criteria do not apply strictly on the thread, I'll be glad to discuss it via PM, I'll base the final decision on the choice of the user;

That's a statement!
I would also add to discuss stuff with me in case of doubts.
Just give me some time to fiddle with the board configuration, seems more complicated than I thought, to give you these permissions

OK, I'll follow this updated workflow then

Case B - If the author of the thread was inactive during the last 5/6 months, or if in the Case A the user do not answer my PM in two (2) weeks, I'll compile a list of threads and submit it to bo198214 (via PM or in the present thread based on his preference) .
If an user want's to argue with my decision, in case the case the set of criteria do not apply strictly on the thread, I'll be glad to discuss it via PM, I'll compile then an additional list of conflict and and submit it to bo198214 (via PM or in the present thread based on his preference)

OK, I believe the state of the migration into the new section is around 90%.
I'll just double check the main section page-by-page. After that I'll send I'd need the help of Tommy (I'll PM him soon). I hope he can help me in case I forgot some of his threads about hyperoperations.
If someone believes I forgot to move a thread, I encourage him/her to post it here, or to send me a PM.
Double check: done 12 threads added. We are at 95% of the process, I guess.

I'm not sure if this observation deserves a new thread but recently more and more threads not directly related to the math surrounding tetration, iteration and dynamics nor related to the math of hyperoperations are appearing in the main section. Am I seeing this correctly? Do we we need to discuss the possibility of another subsection along the lines of "Off Topic - outside the iteration/dynamics and hyperoperations" or something like that? Are all the new seemingly unrelated things just part of analytic number theory and complex analysis? Or ultimately they are all linked to iteration and dynamics?

I disagree with the terminology "Off-Topic". I would think we need a better term. But I also don't think we are there yet. Talking about p-adic analysis should fall under general discussion... And that, making too many sections, forces over moderation. Tetration forum is so great, because it is fairly free for all.
I don't think we need to break up anything anymore. At least not yet. Don't get mod heavy
