FAQ 2008 01 12 - tommy1729 - 06/29/2009 in / general discussion and questions / tetration FAQ / second post / FAQ_20080112[1] there are 3 things i like to comment on 1) nested exponentials i have been playing with those too for instance see my " tommy zeta function " as i like to call it. tommy zeta (z) = T [ 1 + 1/n^z ] tommyzeta(1) => http://www.research.att.com/~njas/sequences/A102575 irrationality question usually follows ... notice how it converges really fast. 2) the relationship between iterations of x exp(x) and exp(x) seems intresting , has this been discussed on this forum ? 3) in the paper 4.1.3 exponential forests , second question. i believe a = eta. i came up with the basic idea myself many many years ago. thats a small miracle not ? ![]() ( i think not , math is huge , but also " universal " ) regards tommy1729 |
